[rtl]Baghdad / NINA / The Board of the Border Ports Authority announced, today, Monday, the approval of the controls for the transport of goods (transit), due to the stimulation it provides for the movement of commercial exchange.
A statement by the Authority stated, “The Chairman of the Border Ports Authority, Omar Adnan Al-Waeli, chaired today the first meeting of the Authority’s Council for the year 2024, in the presence of its members, which was held in two parts, in person and televised, at the Authority’s headquarters.”
During the meeting, Al-Waeli urged the need to commit to implementing and implementing all decisions issued by the Council and to follow up on their implementation, each according to his competence, with the need to send proposals for topics to be presented in the upcoming sessions to correct, correct and complete all needs and procedures in a way that serves the public interest.
The statement added: “The meeting He discussed the most important topics that included the Council’s approval of the minutes submitted by the General Authority of Customs regarding controls on the transport of goods (transit), due to the stimulating activity of commercial exchange that this system provides.
