Today, Saturday, the Iraqi Council of Representatives is scheduled to hold a rotating session to discuss attacks on Iraqi sovereignty, and a member of the Council confirms that Iraqi unity and dialogue are the only way to end this problem.
Karim Shakur, Vice President of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc in the House of Representatives, says: “We, as the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan bloc, participate in the session set by the House of Representatives dedicated to discussing attacks on Iraqi sovereignty.”
Karim Shakur added: “We believe that external interference from the countries of the region and major powers in internal affairs and violations of Iraq’s sovereignty began after the liberation of Iraq, and this problem requires unity in the Iraqi ranks first and coming up with a unified speech from all political forces and parties with the government, and then sitting with the countries.” interested in dialogue on this problem.
Karim, Vice-President of the National Union Bloc, stated, “We must deal with all countries that commit violations, with equal treatment, and not differ in positions, as there are attacks and strikes on all regions of Iraq, and this requires us to have a broader vision of the problem.”
Regarding the prospects for negotiations between Iraq and the United States, Karim Shakur stressed that “the survival and exit of the coalition forces and the United States in Iraq must be through dialogue and mutual understanding. It is not possible to resort to the option of escalation and tensions to end this file.”
