The Ministry of Health continues to provide medical services to citizens with simplified procedures, within the government’s general plan for e-governance, in addition to its support for the health sector.
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Health had previously decided to provide services with simplified procedures by opening electronic registration for booking appointments in medical committees, which includes issuing medical reports, as well as the validity of the issuance of medical committee reports, examining and registering medicines, in addition to projects related to employee communications among themselves, which is What the Minister of Health described in a previous statement as the beginning of the shift in all state ministries to electronic government.
Dr. said: Ruba Falah Hassan from the Ministry of Health media: Work on electronic governance began at the beginning of last year, and the Ministry has trained employees working in the program. Hassan explained, in an interview with Al-Sabah, that the goal of governance is to keep pace with the development taking place in developed countries in the process of dealing between citizens and government institutions that seek to simplify procedures for citizens in all aspects.
She added that the Minister of Health “seeks to simplify procedures through the electronic governance program and under the guidance of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers for all ministries,” indicating that “work on the program began in the ministry since the beginning of 2023 in the Planning Department in an effort to develop the work of the program to include all departments of the Ministry of Health.” "For the public good."
Hassan added that the Ministry "has trained the employees working in the program, which facilitates the process of answering reviewers through electronic inquiries," noting that it "contributes to following up on books, rates of speed of completion, and knowledge of delayed ones until they are completed completely."
She pointed out that "electronic governance has an important role in improving health services, increasing efficiency and effectiveness in all health institutions, shifting from the paper system to the electronic system, and speeding up the exchange of data and official books."
