    The President of the Republic said, during his speech at the Sixth Baghdad Dialogue Conference/Regional Communication - The Pivot of Iraq: “I salute the efforts to hold this conference concerned with promoting the values ​​of dialogue and working for partnerships in creating and developing a regional and international environment supportive of dialogue and good understanding between countries.”
    He added, "The Iraqi policy pursued and developed by various governments after the fall of the dictatorship is a policy based on a basic principle in which Iraq is always an active party for regional understanding and coexistence and helps create supportive environments for dialogue."
    He continued: "Iraq has worked to ensure that it is not a starting point for aggression against any regional party, and it is an effective regional factor for constructive cooperation and supporting the will of dialogue and the values ​​of understanding between different countries."
    He pointed out that "Iraq was keen to create an appropriate and supportive atmosphere for dialogue between the two neighboring countries, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Iran."
    He added, "Our region today seems most in need of strengthening the principles of constructive and productive dialogue, and our interest as a region is for us all to cooperate in order to create a vibrant, cooperative, and integrated regional environment."
    He pointed out that "the recent decades were wasted time, during which a lot of wealth and opportunities were destroyed that could have advanced the region, strengthened partnerships, and consolidated cooperation," pointing out that "the atmosphere of wars, violence, and terrorism in recent decades was a major factor in wasting those human resources." "and economic."
    He stressed that "there will be no stability in this region without completely ending the plight of the Palestinian people and restoring their legitimate right to their state and national territory."
    He concluded by saying: "It is the responsibility of the international community to work with a real and effective will to end this suffering and stop the heinous crimes being committed against the Palestinian people."
