Baghdad/Al-Masala Al-Hadath: First Deputy Chairman of the Parliamentary Integrity Committee, Alia Nassif, confirmed that the failure of the Director General of Roads and Bridges to attend the Parliamentary Integrity Committee on the scheduled date gives an indication of his involvement in financial and legal violations.
She explained in a statement, “The Director General of Roads and Bridges was supposed to come last Sunday to the Integrity Committee to ask him dozens of questions, but he declined to attend, and this evasion of coming to Parliament can be interpreted as an indication of his corruption.”
She stated, “There are many violations and violations committed by the Department of Roads and Bridges, the most prominent of which are contracts with unknown companies that do not have similar businesses, such as the Lebanese Ashur Company, which is not recognized in Lebanon.
