    Baghdad today - Baghdad
During the past 24 hours, Iraq has been abuzz with a batch of scandals and problems, some of which are proven and others are still open to debate, as these issues affected serious institutions in Iraq, represented by the educational and security institutions, as well as accusations against the Federal Supreme Court, which described these accusations as media attacks. "Politicized."
This morning, “scandalous” pictures of immoral scenes were leaked of the Dean of the College of Computer Science at the University of Basra, with one of his female students inside his office at the college, while the Ministry of Higher Education announced that the Dean’s hand would be withdrawn and an investigation would be conducted against him.
Local sources and human rights organizations confirmed that these cases are frequent in Iraqi universities, where deans and university professors blackmail some of their female students and rob them of their honor in exchange for success and graduation.
After the scandal that shook the educational institution, there came a major scandal that also shook the security institution and major names that had influence in the past years, as the spokesman for the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces announced the referral of some senior officers to command. They own a network to insult the security institution and blackmail officers and soldiers through pages. Fake names on social networking sites.
A source told "Baghdad Today", "Lieutenant General Saad Al-Alaq and Major General Saad Maan are at the top of the list of officers transferred to command, in addition to 14 other officers with the ranks of colonel, brigadier general, major general and lieutenant colonel."

Meanwhile, the politician and former MP Mishaan al-Jubouri, whose membership was terminated, made an “earth-shattering” statement that shook the media and social media, saying that the President of the Federal Court threatened him and offered him to leave “Sadr’s tripartite alliance” or terminate his membership.
The Federal Court issued a statement in which it said that it was being subjected to a media attack, which it described as “politicized.”
She stressed that "the purpose of the Federal Supreme Court exercising its powers is the correct application of the Constitution, ensuring the unity of Iraq and building a democratic republican, representative, parliamentary system, based on the peaceful transfer of power and fair distribution of wealth, in addition to other constitutional foundations, for the purpose of building the state in a way that achieves the spread of justice." Eliminate injustice, preserve public funds and employ them for the benefit of the people, and achieve the rule of law. This requires that all authorities must adhere to the limits of their constitutional powers, and that local authorities must not exercise the exclusive powers of federal authorities, because this relates to the sovereignty and unity of the country, with the necessity of exercising local authorities for regions or governorates that are not organized into a country. Territory for other jurisdictions, taking into account the shared jurisdictions between the federal and local authorities.”
She indicated that “as a result of its decisions taken to preserve the constitution, it is subjected to an internal and external media attack to discourage it from completing its constitutional duties towards the nation and the people. We believe that this attack is politicized and aims to harm the reputation of the Federal Supreme Court and target its legitimacy. It is considered an attack on the independence of the judiciary, which requires taking all measures.” necessary legal measures to deter and thwart it.”
