Today, Thursday, Iraqi Parliament member Hussein Arab called on the regional government and the federal government to commit to implementing the Federal Court’s decision to settle the salaries of regional employees.
Arabs told Al-Maalouma, “The central government is obligated to settle the salaries of the region, as it sent the salaries for the month of March to the region.”
He explained, "The relationship between Erbil and Baghdad is translated through laws, legislation, and decisions issued by the Federal Court, which obligated everyone to localize the salaries of the region's employees and retirees."
Arab pointed out that "there is optimism that Erbil and Baghdad will reach a solution to the disputes within the legal and constitutional frameworks, as the decisions of the Federal Court are based directly on the legal and constitutional articles and no party can question their integrity."
