A security source in the Anbar Governorate Police Command reported, today, Thursday, that a delegation from the Ministry of Interior arrived at the Anbar Police Command in Ramadi to assess the security situation before receiving the security file.
The source told Al-Maalouma: “The delegation, headed by Lieutenant General Hamid Thajil Dreij, met with Major General Muhammad Rashid Saleh, to discuss the steps for receiving the security file from the ministry.”
He added, "The delegation inspected the cities of Ramadi and Fallujah and was briefed on the security deployment of the police forces and the ongoing preparations to transfer security tasks from the army forces to the police." Ended / 12A
