The head of the State of Law Coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, today, Monday, discussed with the Secretary-General of the Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali, joint work to advance the service and economic situation.
Al-Maliki’s media office stated, in a statement received by Mawazine News, that “The head of the State of Law coalition, Nouri al-Maliki, received in his office today the Secretary-General of the Asaib Ahl al-Haq movement, Sheikh Qais al-Khazali.”
He explained, “During the meeting, developments in the current political situation and local and regional security developments were discussed. The need for cooperation, coordination of efforts, and joint work to advance the service and economic situation in a way that meets the aspirations of the Iraqi people was emphasized.”
