Today, Sunday, activists and media figures called on the Iraqi judiciary, political leaders, and citizens to report the issue of money inflation in the government sector.
Journalist Abdel Karim Al-Yasser said, in a post followed by Mawazine News, “To the Prime Minister, the men of the Iraqi judiciary, the Integrity Commission with all its cadres, and to every influential Iraqi politician in the state, they did what you publish on the electronic pages on the ground. I hope you meet with anyone who has any information or A note supported by an official document that reveals to you those who wreaked havoc on the land of Iraq and who listened to him and learned about what he has. Perhaps we will all contribute to building our country and lifting it from the humanitarian disasters it is experiencing that have a negative impact on the general public.
He added: "Why do some Iraqis want to go out in demonstrations? Isn't it because of the injustice that is spreading day after day?!"
He pointed out that "there are those who enjoy millions of dinars per month without any right to it, and there are those who are waiting for their salary to pay the rent for a house that they live in with their family!!!"
He continued, "There are those who now own real estate and money even though they were barefoot before 2003, and their history is known to everyone. At the same time, there are many Iraqis who are unable to buy treatment for their diseases."
He pointed out that "whoever used to live with his family in a room today now owns a villa worth hundreds of millions. Enough injustice to this people. These corrupt people who think they are strong and we are weak must be exposed."
