    [rtl]The Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibes Al-Saadawi, announced today, Tuesday, that the five berths of the Grand Al-Faw Port have been completed by 92 percent.[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]Ministry spokesman Maytham Al-Safi said in a statement followed by Al-Eqtisad News, “Minister of Transport Razzaq Muhaibas Al-Saadawi visited Basra Governorate and supervised on the ground the work and stages of work development and completion in Al-Faw Port projects.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He explained that “the road project linking Al-Faw Port and Umm Qasr represents an important link between Al-Faw Port and the strategic development road,” noting that “the completion rate in the Five Berths Project (one of the major Al-Faw Port projects) reached 92 percent.”[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He added, "The work stages are advanced in the container yard project and the completion rates have reached 73 percent," adding, "We will work to operate the Grand Al-Faw Port in the middle of next year, and it will join the development path in 2029 to be one of the most important strategic projects in Iraq and the region."[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]He noted that "next November will witness the complete covering of the road linking Al-Faw Port and the development road, coinciding with the completion of the five berths project."[/rtl]
