    {Economic: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Transport, represented by the General Company for Iraqi Ports, announced the entry of five commercial ships to the berths of the northern port of Umm Qasr.

    The Director General of Ports, Farhan Al-Fartousi, said in a statement that {Euphrates News} received a copy of it, that: "Navigation statistics recorded an increase in the numbers and tonnages of commercial ships, and this is due to the facilities provided by the Ports Company."
    He explained, "The berths of the northern Umm Qasr port received five commercial ships carrying containers and various materials, and these ships docked at the berths (12/15/19/26/27), and work is underway to unload them in cooperation and coordination between the port administration and maritime operations."
