The Iraqi parliamentary delegation, headed by the Acting Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, arrived today, Wednesday, in the Turkish capital, Ankara, in response to an official invitation.
A statement to the House of Representatives received by Al-Maalouma stated that, “During its two-day visit, the delegation is scheduled to begin a series of bilateral discussions and meetings with a number of Turkish officials.”
He added, "The meetings will discuss a number of important files between the two neighboring countries, especially the files of security, water, and the economy, and revitalizing bilateral relations at various levels, in a way that achieves the aspirations of the two peoples and the common interests between the two neighboring countries."
