[size=45]The Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Naeem Al-Aboudi, announced the adoption of extension years for professors and assistant professors in actual job service.[/size]
[size=45]Al-Aboudi said in a statement, “In confirmation of our close follow-up of the details resulting from the decision of the National Retirement Authority, regarding the retirement rights of professors and assistant professors whose job services have been extended, based on the legal legislation in force, the Prime Minister, Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani, directed the adoption of the content of our submitted letter.” To the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers on 4/7/2024, which stipulated that the extension years for this segment be approved as an actual job service and not a service in exchange for work, in implementation of the amended University Service Law No. 23 of 2008.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Aboudi added, “In this regard, we renew our keenness and commitment to empowering the members of our universities with their rights stipulated by law and to proceed with integration with the relevant sectoral institutions, to achieve the goals of the public interest.”[/size]
