    The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs prepared a unified national strategy to support training programs and trainees, in implementation of the terms of the government program.
    Ministry spokesman Najm Al-Aqabi said in an interview with “Al-Sabah” followed by “Al-Iqtisad News” that the strategy will be implemented in all training centers in Baghdad and the governorates and includes all applicants through the electronic “Mahan” platform according to an approved central curriculum and at the hands of competent and distinguished staff in this field, who will undertake operations. Training applicants in courses that develop their capabilities and develop their skills and abilities to help them enter the labor market, in a way that is compatible with the nature and forms of those skills in various specializations.
    He pointed out that the Ministry is coordinating with international organizations to support vocational training centers in Iraq, as well as expanding the base of lending programs for young people to create their own projects and providing facilities and support to trainees who want to take these loans, noting that there is a plan to link the outputs of vocational training centers to employment, to provide decent work. For young people seeking work through cooperation and coordination with the private sector, with the help of key partners from trade unions and professional unions.
    Al-Aqabi pointed out that the Ministry is working to give trainees the opportunity to prepare detailed business plans for their commercial, agricultural or industrial projects, and to enable them to implement them on the ground, as well as to develop their entrepreneurial skills and plans that they seek to present in a safe environment, by simulating these skills and plans.
