The Korean National Oil Company reported that Iraq was the fourth largest exporter of crude oil during the month of April.
The company stated in a report, “Saudi Arabia was among the largest exporters to South Korea during the month of April, with exports amounting to 29.187 million barrels, followed by the UAE second with exports amounting to 16.95 million barrels, followed by America third with exports amounting to 12.368 million barrels.”
She added, “Iraq came fourth as the largest exporter of oil to South Korea for the month of April, at 7.749 million barrels, an increase of 35.1% over the same month of 2023, in which oil exports to South Korea amounted to 5.735 million barrels, down from the previous month by 3.1%, which reached 8,000.” Millions of barrels.”
She continued, “High insurance fees on oil tankers in the Arabian Gulf and Asia and the narrow difference in Brent prices between Dubai continued to attract South Korean refineries to American crude oil, but the free trade agreement could make oil shipments from the United Arab Emirates cheaper in the future and challenge Status quo, refining and trade.”
