Former member of the Parliamentary Security and Defense Committee, Ali Al-Ghanimi, said that the American military presence in western Iraq aims to serve Zionist interests.
Al-Ghanimi told Al-Maalouma, "The presence of American forces in Iraq and close to the Iraqi, Syrian and Jordanian borders aims to secure and provide protection for the Zionist entity."
He added, "The US military presence aims to cut off supply routes between Iran, Iraq, Syria and Lebanon."
He pointed out that "the American terrorist operations that target national forces and figures fall within this goal." End 25N
