Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari, the Iraqi Foreign Minister, that the priorities of the Iraqi diplomatic strategy is to restore Iraqi-Arab relations to normal, calling for the need for intensified efforts and cooperation to eradicate terrorism, which constitutes today a strategic threat to countries in the region all.
This came during a visit by the President of the Republic Dr. Fuad Masum, to Saudi Arabia at the head of a ministerial delegation that included Dr. Ibrahim al-Jaafari, the Iraqi foreign minister and other ministers at the invitation of Saudi Arabia. Jaafari said: The purpose of this visit is to be returned relationship to normal, in line with the interests of the Iraqi and Saudi peoples, there are the interests of an important strategy among us, and there is a strategic danger elevated to the level of the strategies is the threat of terrorism, and Daash particular that threatens Iraq, and threatens Syria, and threatens Saudi Arabia, and all the countries in the region, everything calls because we relationship strongest have it.
He commended His Excellency the Saudi position on the Iraq war against Daash gangs terrorist, saying: Saudi side expressed understanding excellent, and the position explicit and clear on the tongue of His Majesty the King to denounce Daash, and emphasized cooperation against this common threat, an international terrorism.
