    Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi (pictured) has “[sent] more than 300 officers in the ministry of Defense into retirement. This comes within a plan to reorganize the hierarchy of the Iraqi Army and make it more active and efficient to confront the dangers that face Iraq and to protect its national security. ”
    No details were given on the identities of the officers, or on why they were removed from the army.

    Tomorrow Press / BAGHDAD: A member of the security and defense committee parliamentary Sabah al-Saadi, on Tuesday, that the re-military structure prevents sagging winning it, noting that the country will be affected in the event of the continuation of the current situation in that institution. He said al-Saadi's "Tomorrow's Press," that " more importantly, the military establishment in Iraq by virtue of exceptional circumstance security that Iraq is going through, "asserting that" structural re-adjust the military establishment is required is very important and will prevent sagging winning it. "
     He noted that "the large number of especially large ones the military ranks need to positions and if those levels are not available There will be a problem, "pointing out that" the presence of the large number of officers and the creation of the position it, it will be as concern, as well as the large number of officers and positions will create something of financial and administrative corruption and thus will affect the country. " The President of the Minister General Commander of the Armed Forces Haider al-Abadi, two days before , a statement which decided to refer the more than three hundred officers in the Ministry of Defence to retirement.
