    SPRING FLOWERS! BY INA

Flower arranging isn’t easy, so I have a few simple rules for myself.  The first rule is to keep a tight color palette – either all one flower or all one color.  This arrangement is all-white but to keep it natural, I added several tones of bright green.  I started with white roses, white dahlias, and white peonies and then added green and white hydrangeas, green hydrangeas buds, and lime green Alchemilla.   The second rule I have is to keep the flowers looking natural - as they would grow in the garden - so I add lots of leaves and flower buds.  No matter whether you’re buying flowers at a florist or picking them in your garden, it’s really fun to try your own arrangements.
