    Iraqi economic expert's (Basenyoz): The federal government will face difficulty in paying employees' salaries after next June


    Iraqi economic expert asserted on Monday that the federal government will face difficulty in paying public sector employees and security forces' salaries a month after June next, stressing that the government will resort to borrowing money from citizens in banks in coordination with the Central Bank of Iraq.

    Said an economist and professor at Baghdad University Acanutormohamod Obeidi's (Basenyoz) that "most of the State-owned banks are working on fundraising for the financial deposits of capital from citizens and companies," stressing that "the citizen would face difficulty in withdrawing money deposited in banks due to borrowing from banks by Federal government. "

    He pointed out that "the federal government will have difficulty in providing liquidity to meet the employees' salaries and Waluvae obligations to the security forces now engaged in editing areas battles, which are still under the control of the organization Daash."

    Between this economist that "most citizens and businesses deposited their funds in state banks began withdrawing their assets from the banks for fear of government borrowing," pointing out that "the Iraqi state treasury almost empty of money circulating capital."
