    Announced activists and civil society organizations in Dhi Qar province, on Sunday, announced the launch of a campaign to support the nomination of the marshes ofsouthern Iraq and parts of sites where monuments to the World Heritage list. As called for an "intensification of the media effort to publicize thevalue of cultural and natural environment of these areas , " they promised that the acceptance of that regulation maintains the effects of "vandalism and tampering with " guarantees necessary for the recovery of the marsh water quota and transmits the area of local universal. 
    The Regional Director said the organization "Nature Iraq . " Jassim al - Asadi, said in an interview to the (long - Presse), " the campaign was launched on Saturday from the city of Ur , capital of the country Sumerians, to support the accession of southern Iraq marshes and locations of impacts of Bauer and Eridu and Uruk, to theWorld Heritage list , which is scheduled to be voted on during the month next July in the Turkish city ofIstanbul. " 
    He called on al - Asadi to" mobilize world public opinion to support the accession of the marshes and locations of Iraqi antiquities to the World Heritage list and to persuade countries that will participate to vote this file ,"noting that" 21 countries will vote on the question at the Istanbul Conference file, three of them Arab Kuwait, Tunisia and Lebanon, where the competing 18 candidates for the list of worldwide locations. " 
    He said al - Asadi, a member of a committee to pursue the accession of the marshes and the effects to the list of World Heritage file, to" join the marsh sites and monuments to those regulations contribute transferred from local to global. " 
    for his part , , the researcher said archaeologist Abdul Amir al - Hamdani, in an interview to the (long -Presse) during his participation campaign support, " the campaign will pave to rally support locally and internationally to file join the marshes of southern Iraq and its archaeological sites to the World Heritage list ," pointing out that " the campaign events include cultural and media activities and send messages to a unified world figures to urge them to support the file ". Hamdani and stressed that "joining the World Heritage List would ensure international protection to keep the effects of vandalism and tampering guarantees necessary for the sustainability of life in the marsh areas and upgrading their betterment water quota , " stressing that " the campaign activities will continue to increase the profile of sites candidate for the World Heritage List." In turn, head of the Committee of Tourism and Antiquities in the province of Dhi Qar generations Moussawi said, in an interview to the (long - Presse), said that " the people of Dhi Qar , activists and representatives of civil society organizations supporting the accession of the southern Iraqi marshes sites and monuments of theWorld Heritage List File", demanding the need " promote media campaign to highlight the cultural, natural and environmental value of the area effects and the marshes. " 
    it was the governor of Dhi Qar Yahia Nasseri, announced last Thursday ( the fifth of May , the current 2016), the launch of a campaign to support the southern Iraqi marshes and cities archaeological nomination to theWorld Heritage list, and in while the United States has expressed its support for the file, nature Iraq organization revealed the completion of the accession of these sites to the global list of heritage file. 
    He called on the governor of Dhi Qar Yahia Nasseri in ( the 19 of November 2015), the Council of Ministers and the Foreign Ministry to rally support for file marshes to resolve the voting process for the benefit of its accession to the World Heritage list. 
    the province of Dhi Qar administration is working with the Ministry of environment and the United Nations Development Programme and the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) to declare Central marshes and South marshes and sites of ur and Eridu within the World Heritage list in 2016.
