    Researchers and university professors counting that there are challenges and problems facing the water , located in the province of Babylon, as put forward several research, including environmental impacts of the project year downstream and take advantage of groundwater sites in the province to eliminate water scarcity, demanded the concerned authorities to find the necessary legislation and employment ofmodern technologies in farming operations and irrigation. 
     the Dean of the Faculty of Science at the University of Babylon, full Haider Zidane, in an interview with (long -Presse), " the Faculty of Science, and in cooperation with the Committee on Water resources Council ofBabylon, was held today in Babylon Resort, north of Hilla, with the participation of experts and researchers scientific symposium from several Iraqi universities, to discuss the challenges and problems experienced by the water , located in Babylon , "noting that" there are significant challenges facing water security in Iraq due to the neighboring countries to reduce the allocated water quotas. " 
     among Zidane" the seminar will discuss the eight research presented by professors and researchers from different Iraqi universities focused on the quality of groundwater and the water footprint of the province ofBabylon, as well as research on the validity of the water project in the great Musayyib and water problems and the impact on the environment in Babylon, in addition to the environmental impacts of the project downstream year. " Zidane said that " the issue of water shortages and the deterioration of their quality hasbecome a major challenge requires states and governments develop strategies to ward off the dangers they face , " and urged all the relevant ministries to "put to overcome the water crisis scientific plans." For his part, the researcher said Jawad Kazim, in an interview with (long - Presse), said that " the experts participating in the seminar discussed the water problems in the province and the nature of the actions taken by thecompetent departments to address those problems and the need to take advantage of the abundance ofgroundwater in the province in order to revive the reality of agriculture which suffers from a shortage ofirrigation water , "pointing out that" the scientific symposium held at the University of Babylon , about thereality of water, will contribute to enhancing the role of colleges and universities to take the role to activate the march of scientific research and keep abreast of developments. " in 
    turn, he stressed teaching at the Faculty of Science at Baghdad University , Moataz Abdullah Sattar, said that " the need for water Asda due to the sharp increase in development programs in Iraq over the past three decades , " noting that " the per capita water decreases significantly with the passage of time in addition to the decline in surface water quality." He said Abdul Sattar that "there is a big pressure located on the water actually including the lack of water legislation and a lack of funding in addition to the aging structures on water resources infrastructure, and practices is its good water management , " and urged the relevant authorities in water resources as " the use of modern technologies in agriculture, irrigation and the establishment of a true regional cooperation on water resources. " The central and southern governorates are experiencing water shortages aggravated, which greatly impacted, and the marsh areas experiencing drought are the other led to the great migration of them and threatening wildlife.
