    <p style="text-align: left;" dir="RTL" class="MsoNormal" align="right">Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The European Union stressed its support to Iraq while confronting the current increasing challenges according to the Cooperation and Partnership Agreement concluded between Iraq and the EU.
    A statement by the Iraqi Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday “The Foreign Minister, Hoshyar Zibari received at the ministry’s building, Ambassadors and head of the EU in Iraq.”
    “Ambassadors and representatives of 17 European countries attended the meeting where EU’s head reviewed the results of the ministerial meeting for EU Foreign Ministers which was held on 22nd, last April in Luxembourg over the situations in Iraq,” the statement added.
    “The meeting was concluded by stressing the EU’s eagerness to build strong and long-lasting partnership with Iraq based on mutual interest, also it confirmed the EU’s supporting attitude to Iraq in its efforts to confront the serious challenges according to the cooperation and partnership agreement between the EU and Iraq,” according to the statement.
    For his part, Zibari emphasized that “Iraq estimates the EU’s concern towards the situation in Iraq and its support for the country in light of the hard conditions lived by the region,” noting “Yet, the political process in Iraq is in continuous progress.”
    “The meeting highlighted the need to continue dialogue and contact between the Iraqi government and the EU representatives and Ambassadors concerning the Syrian crisis. Also, the Iraqi minister informed the attendees about Iraq’s stance towards the entry of the PKK to Iraq coming from Turkey despite the Iraqi government’s rejection,” The statement concluded.

    The
    EU stand with Iraq in order to meet the challenges faced in accordance
    with the partnership and cooperation agreement between Iraq and the
    European Union.

    According to a statement by the Iraqi Foreign
    Ministry received all Iraq IGN on, "Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari met
    today in the Ministry and in the presence of agents and Ministry
    advisers, ambassadors and EU head of Mission in Iraq.

    "The
    ambassadors and representatives [17] European countries attended the
    meeting and the Chairman of the European mission summary results of the
    meeting of the Ministerial Council of Foreign Ministers of the European
    Union on 22 April 2013 in Luxembourg on the situation in Iraq."

    The
    statement added that "raeshalbathh that the meeting concluded that the
    EU's emphasis on building a strong partnership and solid and long
    lasting with Iraq in accordance with common interests, and the EU stands
    with Iraq to confront the challenges faced under the partnership and
    cooperation agreement between Iraq and the European Union," adding that
    "the meeting presentation of the European vision of the political and
    security situation, human rights and regional crises".

    He noted
    that, "Zebari said Iraq appreciated the concern the EU out of friendship
    and support during these difficult circumstances afflicting the entire
    region but it always works to intensify efforts to ensure the freedom
    and human rights in the country, also stressed that the democratic
    political process is progressing continuously, as confirmed by the
    recent elections for provincial councils and in other governorates.

    The
    statement said that "the meeting during which emphasize the importance
    of communication and consultation between the Government and the
    European Union representatives and ambassadors of European countries
    about the Syrian Minister also took the audience from entering Iraqi
    armed groups for the Kurdistan Workers ' PartyPKKFrom Turkey into Iraqi
