    Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and President of the Islamic Supreme Council Ammar
    al-Hakim developments and developments in the political and security situation
    in the country. According to a statement issued by the Supreme Council received
    "morning," a copy of it, Mr Hakim received the Prime Minister at his office in
    Baghdad on Friday. Was discussed during the meeting on
    the visit of Mr. Hakim recent to the Kurdistan region and talks with officials
    of the Kurds in regards to the relations between the center and the region and

    regards to alliances to form local governments a strong and harmonious able to
    offer better services to citizens. indicated that the the
    results of the provincial elections showed the progress the State of Law
    Coalition (headed by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki) the rest of the lists by
    winning 97 seats in the 10 provinces with the exception of Diyala, Salahuddin,
    who played two elections two lists متحالفتين, as the coalition of citizen
    (headed by the President of the Supreme Council Ammar al-Hakim) who
    finished second with 60 seats (with the exception of Diyala and Salah al-Din),
    while the Liberal coalition came third with 55 seats (with the exception of
    Diyala and Salah al-Din), while the coalition united on Iraq's 13 seats and 11
    seats.
