BAGHDAD / NINA / Ali al-Moussawi, the adviser of the Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said the next meeting of the Council of Ministers will be held in Baghdad.

He said in a statement to the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: "The Council of Ministers will not hold its next meeting in the provinces of Anbar or Nineveh, but in the capital Baghdad, because Anbar and Nineveh provinces will be busy with the provincial elections."

He added: "The Chairman of Al-Anbar province council Jassim al-Halbusi demanded not to hold the coming meeting of the Council of Ministers in Anbar province because the province will be busy in the elections that will take place next Thursday."

It is scheduled that the general elections for both provinces Nineveh and Anbar will be held on next Thursday, 20 June, after they were delayed for security reasons. / End
