{Baghdad: Euphrates News} The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit importance that marks a distinct presence in Iraq, the Arab League, "expressed the readiness of the university to exert maximum effort and work to support Iraq.
A statement by the Foreign Ministry and the Euphrates News Agency {} received a copy of it on that , "Foreign Minister Ibrahim al - Jaafari Aciqr Secretary - General of the Arab League met with Ahmed Aboul Gheit , the Egyptian capital of Cairo."
He added , "During the meeting , the review of the fourth joint meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the Arab States and the European Union , the results and the implications for the development of relations with the European Union and cooperation in the activation of common interests and challenges facing the region and the world as well as to discuss the latest developments in Iraq and the efforts of the Iraqis and their victories achieved against Daesh terrorist gangs ".
The al - Jaafari , according to the statement " the importance to play the Arab League role in maintaining the interests of the Arab peoples and contribute to the strengthening of cooperation and the return of stability to the region , " noting that "Iraq supports the Arab League 's efforts and all that would contribute to the promotion of dialogue and to avoid conflicts , the region that are not in the interest of any country in the Arab countries. "
He pointed out that "Iraq is stepping toward the liberation of the entire territory from the grip of terrorists Daesh and the return of displaced people to areas of residence , " explaining that " the Arab - European meeting reinforced the joint cooperation and the emphasis on coordination in the face of common dangers, and the importance of continuing and find solutions to the problems experienced by the region and the world solutions to dialogue."
The statement noted that " the Secretary - General of the Arab League praised his victories by the Iraqis achieved in the war against Daesh gangs terrorist, pointing to the importance that Iraq recorded a significant presence in the Arab League because of its significant weight in establishing the foundations of stability in the region."
