    [ltr]Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) MP, Ali al-Shalah, of the State of Law Coalition denied the resignation of the State Minister for the Parliament Affairs, Safaa al-Din al-Safi.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Speaking to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com), he said “The reports over Safi’s resignation are groundless and there are no disputes between Safi and the MPs of the SLC where the heated statements where with the Parliament Speaker, Osama al-Nijaifi.”[/ltr]
    [ltr]“When we started protesting over voting on the Federal Court law, Nijaifi noted that his opinion is not considered and stopped the voting process where Safi has no relation in this issue,” he concluded.[/ltr]

    [ltr]An informed source stated to Iraqi News (IraqiNews.com) Safi submitted his resignation to the Premier, Nouri al-Maliki.”[/ltr]
