[ltr][You must be registered and logged in to see this image.]WASHINGTON - Iraq Press - January 31: The US Department of Defense Pentagon list of Iraqis will be excluded from the executive order issued byPresident Donald Trump, preventing whereby thecitizens of Iraq and six other countries from entering the United States, as reported by the Los Angeles Times US.
In an interview in front of reporters, Pentagon spokesman Jeff Davis said that the list will include the names of people who have proven their commitment to assist the United States.
He added that the list belonging to "persons who have appeared that they had good things that the United States supported, such as linguistics and drivers and everything else, and risked themselves for doing so."
Such a move would protect tens of thousands of Iraqi translators and advisers who worked with US forces in Iraq that are covered by the ban, according to the paper.
According to the newspaper, the list will not change anything in the executive order , but will be an indicative list of the Department of Homeland Security and the White House when the new policy application.
