He said Undersecretary of the Ministry of Culture for Tourism and Antiquities Qais Hussein Rashid told the "morning": that there is an international committee was formed three months ago under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Culture and the Director General of UNESCO aims to coordinate international initiatives and positions to support Iraq in the field of archeology.
He set up a fund for donors in Paris , a French initiative of United Arab Emirates in the light of those initiatives, yielded sums of money to collect an estimated $ 100 million, which is to be fully allocated for the rehabilitation of museums and archaeological sites scattered across the cities and regions that have been sites of archaeological destruction and blown up by "Daesh" gangs terrorist. He noted Rashid that Mosul Museum will have the largest share of these funds for his rehabilitation, as well as archaeological sites there as a result of the magnitude of the destruction inflicted on them, noting that the ministry is currently in cooperation with the Foundation (Smith Sonia) American training of cadres of archaeological and employees of the Mosul Museum in the Iraqi Museum for the maintenance of antiquities and heritage in Erbil, as this institution has provided moral and material support to Iraq in his rehabilitation to its effects, as well as go to the British Museum Mlakatna training there.

He pointed to the address of many civil society organizations and personalities and elites and cultural teaching staffs and official bodies and informal all of the participation of the campaign, because there is a center to receive books and literature in the Iraqi museum library with mobile teams in the Mutanabi mission to facilitate the order received books from donors, confirming the collection of 2400 book and author of the campaign so far, and there is a tendency to address the Iraqi embassies in order to collect books for the library.
