    Shafaq News/ On Sunday, Jordanian Minister of Investment Kholoud Al-Saqqaf considered Iraq one of her country's most important partners in the investment field, stressing that Jordan attaches the utmost importance to Iraqi investments, by providing them with all the necessary facilities, to enhance their presence on the investment map in the Kingdom.
    This came in a speech during the launch of the activities of the Economic Forum for Financial, Industrial and Commercial Partnerships between Iraq, Jordan and the region.
    Al-Saqqaf stressed the need for the Jordanian and Iraqi private sectors to work to exchange views and ideas, enhance communication, and intensify mutual visits to find out the latest developments in the business environment in the two countries.
    The official Jordanian Petra Agency quoted the minister as saying: The holding of this forum comes at a time when the fraternal relations between the Kingdom and brotherly Iraq have reached a distinguished level that inspires pride and pride in various fields of joint bilateral cooperation, especially economic and investment.
    She added that Iraq is considered one of Jordan's most important partners in the investment field and exports Arab investments distributed across a number of vital economic sectors with high added value, such as industry, tourism, real estate development, banking services and trade.

    Earlier today, the Minister opened the activities of the Economic Forum for Financial, Industrial and Commercial Partnerships between Iraq, Jordan and the region, which is organized by the Iraqi Business Council in partnership with the Jordan and Amman Chambers of Industry.
    The forum, which is held at the King Hussein Convention Center in the Dead Sea region, and is considered the largest regional Jordanian-Iraqi economic and business gathering, is attended by the Chief of Staff of the Presidency of the Iraqi Republic, Kamel Al-Dulaimi, representing the Iraqi President, and ministers from Jordan and Iraq, business owners, investors, and Arab and foreign companies.
    The Council is organizing the forum in cooperation with the Union of Arab Businessmen, the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency and the International Finance Corporation of the World Bank Group, the Association of Information and Communications Technology Companies (Intaj), the Association of Iraqi Private Banks and the Jordanian Banks Association, with the participation of the Jordanian Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO), and the regions. Free and Developmental Jordan.
    The two-day forum seeks to enhance regional integration by building economic interconnection, enhancing cooperation in various sectors, building long-term partnerships, creating sustainable partnerships, deepening mutual understanding between participating countries, and building a common vision for the future of economic prosperity and development in the region.
    The forum's working sessions focus on the most prominent investment opportunities in Jordan and Iraq, the prospects for commercial and industrial opportunities in the two countries, the vision of economic modernization, investment in Iraq, investment opportunities in the region, in addition to investment opportunities in the Jordanian free and development zones.
    The sessions also focus on the role of the banking sector in providing financial facilities to the industrial, energy, mining, transportation and infrastructure sectors, the role of international institutions in providing financial financing for investment projects, and presenting success stories of Jordanian and Iraqi investment companies.
