    the Ministry of Electricity opened projects to decode the electrical bottlenecks and raise voltages in Basra province. Minister of Electricity Qasim Fahdawi during his visit to the province of Basra: that his ministry past setting up smart meters for the purpose of private sector participation in the provision of electricity service, including the province of Basra , through participation in the repair faults and collection fees of energy operations in exchange for taking the proportion of the collection.
    He stressed that the project set up counters will have a significant impact on the sustainability of the supply of electricity to the citizens, and reduce excessive wastage in use, noting that his ministry will work to deliver positive messages to the local government and citizens about the project , which will be the gateway to the stability of uninterrupted electrical power.
    The visit also saw the opening of two projects the first installation and operation of self - converted (Alautw) fifth in Basra station with a capacity of (400 kV), and the other is the expansion of a power station door Zubair through the new installation and operation of the converted fourth major capacity (63 Am.vi.oa) and a new mobile capacity (45 Am.vi.oa) and a section with a capacity of (33 K. P).
    For his part, he said South Electricity distribution director Mohammad Abdul Amir opening of the importance of these projects, as part of the emergency intervention plan to the Ministry of Electricity to implement 59 projects, 42 of them were terminated.
    And expand your new door Zubair second power plant project, said director of the energy transfer in the south , Ziad Ali, adding that it will contribute about 100 megawatts that will contribute to increase the hours of processing and solving the bottleneck in some areas such as the center of the province Kawaz and Mishraq and other areas.
