    08:14:01 30.3.2016 |(Voice of Iraq) - Basra decided the Energy Committee in the local government ofBasra to refer some of theprojects in theenergy sector, due to the need to maintain it, including Harth project - the Shatt al -Arab, while indicated that it will move towards thefederal government to obtain funding for them given the current financial hardship and lack of access Basra the 2016 allocations , said thegovernor ofBasra Majed Nasraoui during a press conference after theweekly meeting of the departments concerned in the electricity sector (which form theenergy Committee in the province), said that Basra , where currently there are no projects implemented for theelectricity sector due tolack offinancial allocations, noting at theconference that the government of Basra will try to get money from the federal government and allocated to thecompanies assigned by theprojects. for his part, thegovernor ofBasra for energy affairs adviser Munther Hashim blessing , said that theprovince and thedepartments concerned and as a result of lack offinancial allocations will be based on thecompletion ofold projects for the years 2014-2015 to improve the reality electricity for the summer ofthis year. in thesame context, between a male director of theDirectorate ofSouth Electricity distribution Mohammed Abdul Amir said in theevent of exceptions and adjusters by thefederal government to allocate funds for projects assigned and contracted there will be clear from thework of theChambers ofelectricity in improving the situation ofelectricity.Since the payment energy consumption fee, referred to the complete reluctance to pay thecollection of the government departments charge, pointing outthat government consumption of electricity ofup to about 40% of theconsumption ofwhat constitutes asignificant burden on theelectricity sector. for his part, said general manager of power transmission in the southern region Ziad Ali Fadel said that the greatest challenge facing departments conservative is to accelerate theimplementation of projects that add amounts of energy to theprovince, indicating that thedepartments stores areequipped with a number of Almtnqlat were distributed by the governor ofBasra on anumber of areas of theprovince, and it is hoped thecompletion ofdistribution lines and transmission lines to those Almtnqlat . , the Director General of theDirectorate ofproduction Basra improve Zaki said that the roof required from energy production to the province ofBasra this year between three thousand to three hundred megawatts. he explained that the Directorate has the ability to provide two thousand, eight hundred to three thousand megawatts, andin case implementation and stability ofelectricity projects , then you can Directorate toprovide more than three thousand ,provided appropriate financial allocations for theperpetuation ofthose stations.
