    Al-Sudani added that "the Ministry of Labor has been keen to make proposals in favor of raising the level of living for workers and alleviate the pressure on the public office in the state." He pointed out that "the law will make the retirement provisions in the public and private sectors unified, and includes the work of the private sector privileges.

    He pointed out that "the new law includes the existence of health insurance and insurance in various forms, which constitutes a qualitative leap to correct and support the private sector in Iraq."

    For his part, the Director General of the Department of Pension and Guarantee Ali Jafar al-Hilu, said that "the new social insurance law voted by the Council of Ministers equated between the privileges of retired in the public sector and working in the private sector," stressing that "the new law will equal women working in the private sector, Enjoyed by the State employee to enjoy maternity leave and other privileges ".
