European Union threatens to respond to US sanctions against Russia

The European Union said it was prepared to respond within days to the new sanctions imposed by the United States against Russia, if it harmed European economic interests.
This came in a statement issued by the President of the European Commission "Jean-Claude Juncker" after the signing of US President Donald Trump, Wednesday, a new law imposing additional sanctions on Russia. The statement said that the European Union must defend its economic interests to the United States and is ready and willing to respond similarly to the new US sanctions against Russia if it harms Europe's economic interests.
