Japan and the European Union agreement threatens the United States

Approaching Japan and the European Union to reach a free trade agreement and a large-scale may contribute to curbing the forces of trade protectionism, launched by US President Donald Trump's policies.
The trade showed the EU Commissioner Cecilia Malmstrom "great confidence" the possibility of reaching an agreement widely during the sixth of July summit with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, with the end of the two parties to cut tariffs on cars and agricultural goods.
She Malmstrom told reporters: "It is possible to conclude a good and fair trade agreements are transparent and viability so that the gain is achieved for both parties, and not as the United States sees what appears to be a party gain is the loss of the other party."
The remarks came Malmstrom after meetings over two days with Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida in Tokyo on an agreement may cancel a large number of trade restrictions. He said Kishida during the meeting, "we've made progress but there are still important points remaining."
He added, "Since we are trying to reach an agreement widely by the summit, I plan to travel to Brussels in order to achieve this." Negotiating Japan and the European Union on trade agreement since 2013, but the negotiations have become more urgent since the withdrawal of the US president of the partnership agreement across the Pacific.
The agreement gives an important political victory for Japan and Europe have raised doubts about the impact of the US government on the priorities of the global economy.
