    Baghdad (IraqiNews.com) The political blocs denounced the double explosions which took place at a condolence gathering in Sadr city of eastern Baghdad and resulted in killing and injuring about 170 persons.

    A statement by WIFAQ Movement headed by Ayad Allawi mentioned “The terrorists added a new catastrophe to the troubles of the people of Sadr city to rape the souls amid a governmental failure to provide security.”

    Meanwhile, Mutahidoun Alliance heade by USama al-Nijaifi mentioned in a statement “The enemies of Iraq continue their bad plots through arousing chaos,” noting that “The duty of all Iraqis is to be alert to end shedding Iraqi blood by terrorism.”


    On the other hand, the head of the Hal Parliamentary Bloc, Ziyad al-Tharib, said in a statement “We denounce targeting our brothers and cousins in Sadr city by the powers of darkness and terrorism.”
