Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi met at his residence in the French capital with representatives of the Talas Company for Military Equipment, headed by its director Patrick Caen, and the delegation of French oil company Total, headed by Patrick Beunier, the company's director.
They discussed the requirements of the security forces and their capabilities, arming and equipping them with the necessary equipment to sustain the battle against terrorism and to clean up the liberated areas of mines and remnants of war.
While the director of Total Oil Company expressed his desire to expand oil and gas investments in Iraq, stressing the company's keenness to deal with the federal government and the establishment and development of projects supporting the Iraqi economy in this area.
