{Baghdad: Al-Furt News} The Central Bank of Iraq directed all Iraqi banks to adopt the standards of the user protection network and approved by the company Swift International before the end of 2017.
"The Central Bank's demand came as part of the commitment of the Iraqi banking sector to apply international standards in the field of remittances," the director of the Information Office of the Central Bank of Iraq, Acer Jabbar, said in a press statement.
"The sixteen user protection standards can be summed up by the need to restrict access to the Internet, to separate sensitive systems from the general IT environment, and to mitigate cyber attacks and vulnerabilities," he said.
"Among other criteria is the security intuition to protect against access to Internet sites and storage, prevent the detection of safe passwords, manage bank identification numbers, separate privileges, detect suspicious activities within the system, record the number of operations, plan for response to different situations, ".is over
