    Information / Baghdad ..
A member of the parliamentary security and defense committee, Iskandar and Tut, called on the House of Representatives to hold an emergency session to discuss the closure of the US embassy in Baghdad in response to US President Donald Trump's decision to transfer his embassy in Israel to Jerusalem.
"The government should make a bold decision to close the US embassy in Baghdad as a practical reaction and commensurate with the history of the Iraqis in the face of the question of Palestine, especially Jerusalem," he said.
"The House of Representatives has to hold a special session to discuss the decision is notorious decision-making, criticizing" the official government positions towards the US decision. "
On Friday, the capital and various Iraqi cities witnessed mass demonstrations in which they burned American and Israeli flags in protest against the US administration's decision to recognize Jerusalem as the capital of the Zionist entity. Ending / 25
