The Union of Arab Trade Unions in Iraq, Star Denbos Brak, said on Thursday that the Union had decided to take "punitive measures" to face the Trump decision on Jerusalem.
The Union explained that the punitive steps are to stop the unloading of US ship cargo, and call for the cancellation of contracts with US companies in Iraq and replace them with contracts with companies friendly countries.
This came during a meeting with Palestinian Ambassador to Iraq Ahmed Aql at the headquarters of the Palestinian Embassy in Baghdad, where a delegation from the union visited the executive office and labor leaders who came to express their absolute rejection of the decision of Trump.
The Iraqi delegation affirmed its support for the positions of the Palestinian leadership in the face of the American policy biased in favor of Israel, and that the Iraqi and Arab workers would not hesitate for a moment to engage in the decisive and decisive battle to defend Jerusalem.
