Human Rights Commission said that Iraq spent 80 billion dinars annually to provide for the needs of prisoners and detainees, saying it each prisoner costs a monthly 251 thousand dinars.
A member of the Commission on Human Rights Black for pleasure (IMN) "The Ministry of Justice has informed the Human Rights Commission that she acted 20 billion dinars annually to feed prisoners and detainees."
He added that "the number of prisoners more than 14 thousand convicted misdemeanors issues and crimes of theft, fraud and other criminal offenses."
He pointed out that "the Human Rights Commission in the process of issuing an annual report on the reality of prisons and detention centers in coordination with the Ministry of Human Rights."
And the Ministry of Justice introduced a project to educate detainees after coordination with the House of Cultural Affairs for the development of libraries in prisons reform.
The Ministry of Justice, the earlier the existence of strict legal right of tempted to allow mobile phones (Mobile) and other contraband into the prison.
