The Department of Public Medical Clinics established committees to carry out the annual inventory of all its affiliated institutions in accordance with a specific and comprehensive mechanism with the aim of controlling public money, preventing waste and preserving property.
Dr. Hazim Abdul Razzaq Al Jumaili, Director General of the Department, said in a statement that "committees were established in our department to carry out the annual inventory work and other to consolidate and reconcile the inventories according to a specific and comprehensive mechanism for inventory of property and funds in the center of the department, In the provinces and clinics and popular clinics and health insurance clinics in Baghdad and the provinces and medical committees to check the driving and recruitment, possession and carrying weapons and printing press.
"The aim of the annual inventory is to preserve public money, discover loss and damage, verify data in warehouse records, detect stagnant and slow-moving items, and shorten gaps in warehouse control," he said.
"The annual inventory is divided into inventory of assets such as furniture, medical equipment, stationery, publications, consumables, backup materials, transport media, inventory of chronic and general diseases, medical supplies, name of each drug, packaging and production date and control date, And stated the price and the total value of each article. "
He pointed out that the general and complete inventory of the assets of the Department and its affiliates in kind and cash will be the period from 1/1/2017 until 31 December for the same year and the inventory is under the lists prepared for this purpose.
