The Department of Popular Medical Clinics announced the operation of the autopsy project in the Department of Forensic Medicine after the official working hours according to the law of the department to provide services to the deceased and prevent the pile of bodies.
The Director General of the Department of People's Medical Clinics, Dr. Hazem Abdul-Razzaq al-Jumaili said in a statement received "Trend Press" copy of it today: "Based on the directives of the Minister of Health decided to operate the project of autopsy in the Department of Forensic Medicine after the official working hours in accordance with the law of our district No. 89 of 1986 Based on the statement of the Ministry of Health Department of Planning and Resource Development, pointing out that the goal of this project is to complete the issues received by the Department of Forensic Medicine from 4 pm to 9 pm and provide the best services to the deceased as soon as possible.
He added: "Working after official working hours will help to increase the time to check in the examination and the completion of the largest number of bodies during the day, as well as the lack of the number of forensic doctors and the small area of the anatomy, which can not accommodate only eight cases and the difficulty of keeping bodies, especially during the hot summer months.
The statement pointed out that "there is no compensation for the wages of the deceased, where the minister was to cover the expenses of work after the official hours of the revenues of the Department of People's Medical Clinics."
