government source in Diyala province said on Friday , 70 thousand to proceed with the extermination of other chickens infected with bird flu , northwest of Baquba.
The source said in an interview with "Baghdad Post" that the veterinary teams and the competent authorities began to exterminate about 70 thousand chickens infected with bird flu in the fields of poultry breeding in the area of Habhab northwest of Baquba.
He added that the number of cases of avian influenza in the area of Hebbeh within this meal and yesterday's meal, which destroyed more than 70 thousand reached about 140 thousand chickens infected.
The source explained that the extermination of chickens came to contain the disease and ensure that the transmission and spread on a wider scale.
