Basra gas announces the highest production in the history of Iraq during 2017

BAGHDAD / The Basrah Gas Company confirmed on Sunday that its production plan last year witnessed the highest gas production in Iraq.
The company's general manager Simon Daman Williams, in a statement received by "Eye of Iraq News," that "we were able to commit to our promise to the Iraqi government, and we have completed the year 2017 excellence through the achievement of exceptional quantities of gas treatment amounted to more than 900 million Cubic feet per day of crude gas, investigators highest production in the history of Iraq. Oil Minister Jabbar al-Luaibi said, "We achieved a significant increase in the associated gas investment in the Basrah Gas Company project in early January 2018 compared to the same month last year. The production capacity of this project reached 900 million standard cubic feet / Daily, and this achievement significantly strengthened the capabilities of Iraq at various levels, including exports of LPG and condensate, and promote sustainable development and provide the necessary confidence for investors in petrochemical projects.
