The member of the Finance Committee MP Faleh al-Sari that the monthly deduction rate of employees' salaries of 3.8% will be raised from the draft budget for 2018 to eliminate the need of the government imposed in 2015 when the fall of oil prices in world markets.
Al-Sari said in a televised interview: "The Finance Committee will submit a draft of canceling the monthly deductions from salaries of employees in preparation for the cancellation of this paragraph of the draft budget when voting on them in the coming sessions.
He added: The government was suffering from the deficit in the budget when oil prices fell to $ 28, confirming the stability of the price of a barrel of oil over $ 56 during the last period.
"If the deduction is canceled, the government must return the amounts of deductions to employees and retirees starting in January of this year," he said.
