    [rtl]The Council of Ministers approved the provision of financial allocations to the Electoral Commission and the recommendations of the High Committee for Poverty Alleviation Policies .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The media office of the Prime Minister said in a statement obtained by Al-Jazeera Press on Wednesday that the regular session held on Tuesday discussed the provision of the right environment for the elections and the resolution of the outstanding issues with the funding of the Independent Electoral Commission for the failure to approve the financial budget by voting on the provision of financial allocations required For this purpose .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The statement also pointed   to the draft law on the first amendment to the Integrity Commission Act of 2011, within the same session .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The session, chaired by Prime Minister Haider al-Abbadi, witnessed the vote approving the reduction of electricity tariff rates for domestic, commercial, industrial and agricultural consumption, based on the proposals of the ministerial committee .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]The Council also agreed to exempt the imported materials   for the purpose of a power station with protection from local product protection fees, according to the statement .[/rtl]
     
    [rtl]On January 21, the Council of Ministers decided to postpone the payment of customs duties on imported goods and goods to the name of the ministries and the Secretariat of Baghdad and Municipalities unless the contract provides for the source to bear such fees. The decree includes goods for the Ministries of Education, Health, Supply and Trade, Agriculture, Reconstruction and Housing ).[/rtl]
