Iraq and the United Nations form an advisory body to manage food security

BAGHDAD / The General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers announced on Tuesday the formation of an advisory body to manage the file of food security in Iraq in cooperation with the relevant international organizations.
The Secretary-General of the Council of Ministers, Mahdi Al-Alak, discussed with the representatives of the World Food Program, the United Nations Development Program and the International Center for Agricultural Research in the Dry Areas of Iraq a plan for the implementation of a strategic review of food security and nutrition in Iraq.
