    BAGHDAD (Reuters) - The conference of non-governmental organizations to support the humanitarian situation in Iraq, which aims to discuss the latest humanitarian situation and response efforts, will begin on Monday, coinciding with Kuwait's hosting of the International Conference for the Reconstruction of Iraq.
    The activities of the conference, which is being held under the guidance of the Emir of Kuwait Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, will begin with the Kuwaiti government's decision to launch the International Islamic Charitable Organization in Kuwait.
    The one-day conference is attended by a group of speakers representing about 70 humanitarian organizations, including 30 regional and international organizations, 25 Iraqi organizations and 15 Kuwaiti organizations that are reviewing their experiences in providing relief to displaced people, victims and victims and providing the basic needs of the displaced Iraqi refugees.
    The first session of the conference will discuss the humanitarian situation and the humanitarian response efforts in Iraq. The second session will discuss the declaration of programs to support the humanitarian situation in Iraq for the year 2018. The third session will discuss the role of civil society in building confidence.
    The State of Kuwait's initiative to establish this conference has received wide international, international and Arab acclaim. These activities underscore Kuwait's keenness to establish security and stability in the region and support the Iraqi people in the aftermath of wars and conflicts.
    The conference targets the assessment of the humanitarian situation in Iraq and efforts to mobilize local organizations, regional and international for to the basic needs of the Iraqi brothers affected by armed conflict and to support efforts to strengthen the response and partnership efforts in the face of painful challenges humanity in Iraq.
    In order to ensure the success of the Conference's activities, the International Islamic Charitable Organization invited invitations to more than 100 local, regional and international organizations, many leading figures and the United Nations High Representative for Humanitarian Affairs, together with a conference paper containing its vision and objectives.
    The Commission also issued periodic reports on the implementation of the pledges expected to be issued by the Conference, with donor organizations reporting quarterly on their humanitarian programs to be carried out for Iraq in 2018.
    The Iraq reconstruction conference will be held from February 12 to 14, with the participation of a number of donor countries and international and regional organizations headed by five parties - the European Union, Iraq, Kuwait, the United Nations and the World Bank. Finished
